Zweigelt Wild 2015 14% Vol. - Natural Wine

A strong, full-bodied Zweigelt with a dark burgundy red colour and very velvety chocolatey tannins in the finish. The wine can mature in the bottle for up to 40 years.

On the nose, the Zweigelt Wild has aromas of morello cherry, black heart cherry, blackberry, tobacco, dark chocolate and hazelnut. On the palate, it shows aromas of fig mousse, black pepper and has strong, velvety tannins.

An exceptional wine for wine lovers.

Serving and food recommendation:        

An exceptional red wine that should be served at approx. 17 °C in a Burgundy glass.

This Natural Wine is suitable for seared red meat, whose roasted aromas are wonderfully complemented.

Braised dishes, such as venison roast or saddle of venison with cranberries, are also perfect partners.

A small family winery on the edge of the Leithagebirge and at the foot of Lake Neusiedl, which cultivates the vineyards organically, gently and carefully. A special feature of the wines is, on the one hand, the extraordinary soils such as limestone and slate and, on the other hand, the decades of experience of the winemaker, who constantly tells new stories through continuous development.
