About the producer: 

Stefan Windisch GmbH produces sausage and ham products in the 3rd generation according to the highest quality recipes, exclusively from regional raw materials.

Traditionally and still handcrafted, but adapted to today's nutritional knowledge regarding fat content, salt content, smoking, and excluding questionable additives such as emulsifiers, highly concentrated flavor enhancers, and the like, which are often used for cheap recipes.

The beef to be processed comes from the nearby Bucklige Welt region, lamb and veal from Styria and Carinthia, turkey from Burgenland, Mangalica pork from Lower Austria.

The pork used comes from the strictly monitored "Animal Welfare Program" of the AMA and from special regional programs with specific feeding regulations, short transport routes, animal-friendly slaughter, circular economy of farmers, and much more.
