The large-leaved organic basil has an intense aroma. The leaves are particularly suitable in Mediterranean cuisine, especially for salads and fish dishes. The very intense and aromatic smell is caused by the high content of essential oils.
Care instructions: The plant needs regular water, but there should be no waterlogging. To avoid premature death, not only the leaves but also the stems should be cut off.
Location: The organic basil prefers a sunny location and the soil should always be kept moist.
The larger pot keeps the basil fresh for longer.

About the producer
The Holzhacker nursery is a family business in its 6th generation and has specialized in the cultivation of organic herbs in recent years. On the outskirts of Vienna, right at the gateway to the Marchfeld, an open-air area of 40 ha is cultivated and organic herb pots are grown in approx. 2 ha of greenhouses.
In addition to regionality and quality, customers particularly appreciate the freshness and variety of the products.
Particular attention is also paid to environmentally friendly and sustainable production, and the use of beneficial insects protects the plants from pests in a biological way.

Store fresh herbs in an airtight container or a tightly sealed freezer bag in the refrigerator to preserve their freshness.
