This smoked salmon from Schenkel is made from tender Norwegian salmon loin, known as Tsar salmon. Prepared without bones or skin, the fillet is traditionally dry-salted and gently cold-smoked over selected hardwoods for a delicate, mild smoky flavour. Offering a fine texture and a meltingly soft bite, this exquisite 200 g fish specialty slices easily for elegant dining.

Description

The noblest piece of salmon in the consumer-friendly 200 g pack. Gutted, completely boned and delicately smoked. Tsar Salmon is an internationally protected trademark of the import house Schenkel.

The exclusivity of the smoked Tsar's salmon back fillet is simply explained:

Fresh caught eel salmon (Salmo Salar) is mildly salted and only gently smoked on the day it is caught. After that, the juicy but nonetheless low-fat fillet, about 6 cm wide, is removed and completely boned.

The tsar's salmon back fillet is easy to prepare in front of the guest, it is cut into approx. 5 mm thick slices and served decoratively similar to the shape of orange wedges.

Just enjoy Tsar's salmon back fillet as you would at the Tsar's court: with plenty of fresh orig. Russian caviar and champagne.
