Description
Roasted coffee beans grown on coffee plantations. Espresso is a blend of Arabica and Robusta with a roast level of 5 out of 5 and an acidity level of 1 out of 5.

Acidity: Every coffee bean naturally contains fruit acids, as coffee is a fruit. You will usually find more of them in Arabica beans than in Robusta beans. The same applies to the roast profile. In light roasted coffee, the acids are more pronounced than in dark roasted coffee. However, this acidity is not a sign of poor roasting. On the contrary: it gives the coffee a pleasant, fruity note. Coffee with high acidity is appreciated by lovers of lively and refreshing profiles. For those who prefer a spicier, full-bodied cup with a hint of chocolate, we recommend choosing a coffee with low acidity.
Roast profile: The roast level indicates how intensely the coffee beans have been roasted. As a rule of thumb, the lower the roast level, the more pronounced the coffee's acidity – providing a fresh, fruity taste. The higher the roast level, the more robust the aroma – bringing out a bold coffee taste with chocolate notes.
Taste: Coffee with lower flavor complexity tastes milder and more straightforward. Coffee with a higher value has a complex and multi-layered taste. Ultimately, the number of recognizable aromas is always decisive.
Intensity: This determines how strongly the defining aromas manifest in the coffee. It is not about the number of flavors, but about how bold and intense they taste to you. The higher the value, the more intense the flavor.
The coffee beans are harvested and then slowly roasted in a drum roaster at a maximum of 210 °C for over 20 minutes. This gives the beans enough time to fully develop their intense aroma and harmonious taste.
HOW TO USE
Grind the coffee right before preparation and enjoy it according to your preference. It is ideal for preparation in fully automatic coffee machines, portafilter espresso machines, or stovetop espresso makers (moka pot).
