Caffeine-free coffee enjoyment

.

You want the full taste of coffee, but without caffeine? Then you've come to the right place with our decaff! Gently decaffeinated and roasted, Entcoff Whole Bean is suitable for preparation in the espresso maker, Chemex, filter coffee machine or fully automatic machine.

Our Entcoff Whole Bean is suitable for preparation in the espresso maker, Chemex, filter coffee machine or fully automatic machine.

Our Entcoff knows how to pleasantly surprise. The characteristic taste of gently roasted coffee beans, the mild aroma - it's all there. The trick behind it: The beans are carefully decaffeinated before roasting. The coffee tastes velvety smooth, extremely balanced and harmonious. This guarantees smooth enjoyment even over several cups.

This is how decaffeination

is done.

For our decaff, the beans are decaffeinated before roasting using the "indirect method". For this, the raw coffee beans are first softened by steam and then the caffeine is extracted with a solvent (in our case dichloromethane). This extraction takes place as the solvent evaporates, condenses and drips onto the soaked coffee beans. The caffeine dissolves in contact with dichloromethane. The beans are then dried for several hours and thoroughly cleaned so that no residues of the solvent remain. After the subsequent gentle long-term roasting, the end product in your cup is a velvety-soft, mild Entcoff that promises enjoyment in every situation.
