The powerful beans
The coffee beans of the Ubomi Classic are harvested by hand and then slowly roasted in drums at a maximum temperature of 210 °C for 20 minutes. This gives the beans time to develop their incredibly intense aroma and wonderfully harmonious taste. The Ubomi Classic is therefore intensively roasted and convinces with a classic aromatic coffee taste. With its full body, it can be enjoyed wonderfully.
As part of the Rainforest Alliance, Ubomi also stands for fair trade. The coffee is grown and processed by farmers who care about people and nature living in harmony.
The ground coffee beans were grown on coffee plantations. Classic RFA is 100% Arabica.
Intensity 2/5
Roast level 2/5
Acidity 2/5
Taste 3/5
The ground coffee is slightly aromatic and lightly roasted.
Intensity: It determines how intense the decisive aromas are present in the coffee. It does not depend on the amount of aromas, but on how strong and intense they taste. The higher the value, the more intense the taste.
Roast level: The roast level indicates how strongly the coffee beans have been roasted. As a general rule, the lower the roast level, the more pronounced the acidity of the coffee - the fresh fruity taste. The higher the roast level, the more pronounced the taste of the coffee - the strong coffee taste with chocolate undertones.
Acidity: Every coffee bean naturally contains fruit acids, because coffee is a fruit. Arabica beans usually contain more than Robusta beans. The same applies to the roast level. In lightly roasted coffee, the acids are more pronounced than in dark roasted coffee. However, this acidity is not a sign of incorrect roasting. On the contrary, it gives the coffee a pleasant fruity taste. Coffee with a high acidity is appreciated by lovers of a spicy and refreshing taste. If you prefer a spicy cup with a full taste and a hint of chocolate, we recommend that you choose coffee with a low acidity.
Taste: Coffee with a lower taste value tastes more delicate and simpler. High-quality coffee has a complex and multi-layered taste. However, the decisive factor is always the amount of perceptible aromas.
The Ubomi coffee beans are packed in 100% recyclable packaging. This is not a standard on the market! Therefore, the Ubomi packaging should be recycled after the beans have been used up.
