About the producer:

Hausbrandt Trieste 1892 is the oldest roasting company in Italy, founded in Trieste in 1892 by Hermann Hausbrandt, commander of the Austrian merchant navy.

Hausbrandt's sales and marketing strategies make it the preeminent roasting company in the entire empire.

The company, which is widespread in Italy and the Balkan countries, continues to grow in the following decades. In 1988 it is taken over by Martino Zanetti and combined with the company Martino Zanetti already owns.

The tradition of Kommandant Hausbrandt, the blends and the corporate philosophy continue to evolve: Martino Zanetti and his organisation bring the company into a leading position during these 20 years. Italian espresso gains a foothold in over 70 countries outside Italy and eventually establishes itself as an international roasting company.

In 2012, the company headquarters with offices and warehouses moved to Vienna. Against the backdrop of the company's traditional history, the geo-economic significance of Vienna as the centre of Europe comes to the fore.

Every energy in the future is geared towards this centralisation of Vienna.
