About the breed:
Mangalitza is a breed of pig that originated in Hungary. They are wooly pigs, a name they get from their dense, wool-like bristles. The animals' thick layer of fat is also characteristic, which can be up to 20 cm on the back. This protects the animals from the cold in winter when they are outdoors. The meat of Mangalitza pigs is known for its special quality.
