The bake-off Der Mann Grandioso is a premium Italian-style wheat bread specialty crafted in Austria. Made with very little yeast, the dough undergoes a long, cool 20-hour fermentation process to develop its rich aroma and characteristic coarse, irregular pores. This delicious 450g loaf is perfect for baking at home to enjoy fresh with cheese, prosciutto, and olives.

The Man Grandioso 450g

We make this bread speciality according to an old, Italian recipe from wheat flour, water, salt and very little yeast. To give the bread its full flavour and keep it fresh for a long time, the dough undergoes a long, cool fermentation phase (up to 20 hours). The resulting and desired irregularly coarse porosity is the quality feature of this bread. Baked in special moulds, the Grandioso gets its characteristics.

Delicious like on an Italian holiday. Cheese, prosciutto and olives: simply grandioso!
