For Alnatura cocoa nibs, cocoa beans are dried after harvesting, roasted and broken into fine splinters. 70 per cent of the beans consist of the noble cocoa variety Criollo, which provides a particularly intense cocoa note. Cocoa nibs give baked goods or desserts a fine, tangy flavour and provide aromatic, crunchy enjoyment in muesli. The Alnatura roasted cocoa nibs are vegan and come from organic farming.
