This large Austrian Halloween pumpkin of the "Ghost Ride" variety comes fresh from the farm, grown by Gschaiderhof in Lower Austria's Tullnerfeld. With a diameter of at least 30 centimetres, this 1 piece pumpkin offers plenty of room for carving. It is also an edible pumpkin, so both the flesh and seeds can be prepared and eaten.

Description
The Halloween pumpkin bears the fitting name "Ghost Ride" and is one of the edible pumpkins – its flesh is therefore edible.
You can hollow out the large pumpkin, which has a diameter of at least 40 centimetres, for Halloween and decorate it with a face.
How to hollow out the Halloween pumpkin:
- Wash the pumpkin before processing it. This prevents your hands from contaminating the flesh when hollowing it out.
- First, cut off the lid with a sharp knife.
- Remove the fibrous flesh and pumpkin seeds inside with a spoon. Put both into a large bowl, as the pumpkin seeds are also edible.
- Now you can carve the pumpkin face.

Our farm is located in the Lower Austrian region of Tullnerfeld. We love the varied work with and in nature, the fields and meadows around the farm, and life on the outskirts of the city.
