The Halloween pumpkin aptly named "Ghost Ride" is a type of squash – its flesh is therefore edible.
You can hollow out the large pumpkin, which has a diameter of at least 20 centimetres, for Halloween and decorate it with a face.
How to hollow out a Halloween pumpkin:
- Wash the pumpkin before working on it. This will prevent your hands from contaminating the flesh when hollowing it out.
- First, cut off the lid with a sharp knife.
- Remove the fibrous flesh and pumpkin seeds inside with a spoon. Put both in a large bowl, because the pumpkin seeds are also edible.
- Now you can carve the pumpkin face.

Our farm is located in the Lower Austrian region of Tullnerfeld. We love the varied work with and in nature, the fields and meadows around the farm and life on the outskirts of the city.
Since our way of working involves great mindfulness towards nature and careful handling of the soil, we also try to pass these aspects on to our customers by imparting background knowledge and working techniques in modern agriculture.

We produce a wide range of products, including oil pumpkins for our pumpkin seed oil and our snack kernels, but also garlic, fruit vegetables, wheat, corn, soybeans and sugar beets.
