Vulcano bacon dates 

The sun-ripened dates are wrapped by hand with thin slices of bacon. The sweetness in combination with the hearty, salty taste of the bacon complement each other wonderfully.

The bacon dates are wonderful as a salad topping or as an appetizer with a good glass of wine. At Christmas, they are also ideal for a raclette evening. Sautéed briefly in the pan, the dates create a wonderful interplay between the sweet, fruity dates and the crispy, slightly salty bacon. Always a success and quick to make.
