Morbidi Wildsalami
Minced shoulder meat and belly in small cubes are mixed with salt, spices and flavours and then filled into natural casings. The maturation then takes about 45 days. This gives the salami its intense taste of wild game, which is typical of Tuscan sausages.
This is how it tastes best:
- as an aperitif: best enjoyed with a good glass of wine, together with honey, fruit and cheese. Well combined with Tuscan bread.
- as a sandwich: perfect for filling a hearty Tuscan sandwich.

About the company:
It all began in 1925 with a small dairy in the old town of Siena. From then on, the name Morbidi became synonymous with "good food" for the locals. In the 1940s, we began to work with pork and then with sheep's milk, in keeping with the oldest local traditions. Over the generations, we have developed into a modern company with a strong focus on sustainability and a short supply chain, but we have never forgotten where we started: in a wonderful place that is still ready to welcome anyone who comes through the heart of Siena.
