A traditional taste that the whole family will enjoy! Violife slices are delicious and versatile - it's entirely up to you. They are the perfect vegan alternative to Gouda slices.  The plant-based cheese alternative is free from lactose, gluten, nuts, soy and preservatives.

Violife Gouda flavour slices are great to enjoy cold on bread or on their own, or simply use them to gratinate toast or gratins.

RECIPE IDEAS FOR A SANDWICH WITH SPINATE & SUN-RIPENED TOMATES (2 people)

FOR THE SPINAT CREAM: ● 100g Violife Creamy Original ● 100g fresh spinach, roughly chopped ● 20g sun-dried tomatoes, chopped ● 2 cloves garlic, pressed ● 1 tsp olive oil, for frying ● 1 pinch salt

FOR THE GRILLED SANDWICH: ● 4 slices of Violife Gouda flavour ● 4 slices of bread of your choice ● 1 tsp coconut oil

Preparation
Heat a teaspoon of olive oil in a pan. Add the garlic and sauté. Then add the spinach and salt and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Place in a bowl, drain, stir in Violife Creamy and the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, and salt to taste.
Coat the bread slices with coconut oil on one side each. Once the pan is hot, place 2 slices of bread in it, oiled side down. Spread 2 slices of Violife Gouda flavour with spinach cream filling on each slice of bread and top with the other slices of bread, oiled side up.
When frying, press carefully with a spatula onto the grilled sandwich. When the bottom is browned, flip the sandwich over and toast as well, about 2-4 minutes on each side.
