The inspiration for this bread roll for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney was – as the name suggests – the Australian Aborigines and their long "walkabouts", the kilometre-long marches through the outback. A bread roll was created for this purpose that gives strength and really fills you up. And the popular square pastry with nuts, peas and carrots definitely does that.
