Zucchini grün, lose

The zucchini originally comes from the South American giant pumpkin. In modern times, the garden pumpkin came to Europe, and zucchini was then cultivated in Italy.

Usage

Zucchini are versatile in the kitchen for both cooking and baking. Whether it's quick pasta dishes with zucchini, stuffed zucchini, zucchini soup with meat or cheese, simply quickly fried in a pan, or in a juicy zucchini cake. Zoodles are also very popular, especially in low-carb cuisine.

Storage

Zucchini should be stored in a dark and cool place. Once cut, they should be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 5 days.

Storage Recommendation

Zucchini should never be stored below 5° C and are therefore best suited for the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator.
