Federici Le Coste Vermentino Lazio IGT – Fresh-aromatic white wine from Lazio
A dry, single-varietal white wine made from the Vermentino grape variety (100%) with an alcohol content of approx. 13.5% vol.
Origin: Italy, Lazio region ("Lazio"), cultivation area around Zagarolo, located approx. 330 m above sea level.
Vinification: Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 6 months of aging on fine lees with weekly bâtonnage – for a smooth texture and clear freshness.
Character: In the glass, it presents itself in a bright straw yellow with golden reflections. On the nose, strikingly fruity-floral with notes of white blossoms, exotic fruits, and a subtle hint of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, fresh, lively, and finely structured with balanced acidity and pleasant minerality.
Food pairing recommendation: Serve at approx. 8-10 °C – ideal with fish dishes (e.g., baked fish, tuna), seafood, light antipasti, or as an elegant aperitif.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
