The Lemon Oyster Mushroom or Citron Oyster Mushroom is closely related to the Oyster Mushroom but differs significantly from it in taste and appearance. Its sun-yellow colour, its aroma, and its taste give it its name. Its particularly fine and fresh taste goes especially well with light meats and white fish. This exotic mushroom has a lot of inherent flavour and should not be over-seasoned. When heated, the Lemon Oyster Mushroom changes colour to beige-brown.
Don't worry if there are fine white threads on the Lemon Oyster Mushrooms. This is not mould!
The mushroom's seeds (spores) are germinating and forming new mycelium, which is just as tasty and healthy as the fruiting body itself. You can simply cook these threads (mycelium) with the mushrooms; they will dissolve. Alternatively, the threads can also be wiped off with a dry cloth.

Storage Recommendation
