The Birkengold fruit spread strawberry is made from 70% selected organic fruit and sweetened with Birkengold xylitol. Apple pectin ensures a smooth, spreadable consistency.

[Birkengold is an owner-managed limited liability company, founded in 2011, and according to the manufacturer positions itself as the market leader for xylitol in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The company also supplies many EU countries, including with private-label products.

The range includes foods and dental care products based on xylitol. Birkengold uses 100% pure xylitol from Finnish birch bark as well as organic xylitol from corn. The products are sweetened exclusively with xylitol, 100% vegan and palm oil-free. ]
