The Purple Carrot is one of, if not the, oldest carrot varieties in the world and is therefore also known as the "original carrot". Its purple skin is a visual highlight! It also has a lot to offer in terms of taste, with a much sweeter aroma than the traditional carrot. It can be processed as usual and is a great change on any plate with its play of colours, whether raw, roasted or cooked!
