The Wijngaard Affiné cheese is a matured, traditional Gouda from the Netherlands, produced in the cheese dairy of Wijngaard Cheesemakers. The cheese is characterized by its velvety texture and its finely balanced aroma, which is created by a maturation of several months on wooden shelves.
During the maturing period, it develops a characteristic, slightly sweet note with a hint of caramel and nuts. The creamy consistency and the full-bodied taste make the Wijngaard Affiné Gouda ideal for the cheese platter, for refining dishes or simply for enjoying.
