In the Tullnerfeld, practically on the outskirts of Vienna, Michael Herzog grows his organic salads. Through his special cultivation technique on ridges, each lettuce plant has enough space to develop its roots. This makes the salads more resilient, develop more leaf mass, and ultimately last longer.
Michael entered his parents' agriculture business at the tender age of 18 and gradually transformed their conventional pig farming operation into a vegetable farm. In 2015, the switch to organic followed, along with the corresponding certification. Today, a 7-member team on Michi's farm ensures a regular supply of vitamins on your plate.
