Carnival With Gurkerl. At: Now It'S Colorful!

We're spending Carnival at home this year - all the more colourful we want to make it.

At gurkerl.at you get everything you need for a fun carnival party. And it's all delivered straight to your door.

The best thing about it: for a very special carnival experience you can easily make your own individual carnival decorations, costumes and snack bowls. The gurkerl.at paper sack, in which the products are delivered, can be wonderfully upcycled.

Here we present our favourite DIYs for the carnival.

On your mark, get set, gurkerl, go!

So You Transform Your Home Into A Party Room

Pennant garlands and decorative rosettes fit perfectly into the carnival season, don't they? And yet they are so easy to make.

For the pennant garland, simply cut out triangles and attach them to a string. The kids will be happy to help decorate it - there are no limits to creativity!

The decorative rosettes will also be a real eye-catcher in your living room. Simply cut several oblong rectangles from the gurkerl.at paper bags, fold them into compartments and staple them together at the ends. Cut a circle out of coloured paper for the centre and decorate as you like. Here, too, the children are happy to be able to use their creativity.

The Carnival buffet arranged underneath will be a real eye-catcher!

The Gurkerl-Prinz can't decide whether he should bite into the fluffy Öfferl Faschingskrapfen or whether he'd rather reach for the savoury first.

In any case, the costume is kept child-friendly simple: cut two holes for the feet in the bottom of the sack and tack on a few paper straps at the top.

The crown is also quickly cut out, glued and decorated. The carnival prince is already crowned.

You can also conjure up a delightful party skirt for the Gurkerl princess in no time at all.

To do this, cut several long strips from the gurkerl.at paper bags and roll them into tubes. Then staple them to a wide strip that you also cut from a bag. In between, you can add a few colourful elements to add some colour to the costume.

Tip for Mum & Dad, Uncle & Auntie and all other crafty people: adults can also join in the dressing-up fun. Simply cut fly, moustache, mask & Co.out of the paper bags, decorate them and glue them to wooden sticks.

This is carnival fun for the whole family!
