About the Winery:
The young winery, founded in 1970, owns 730 ha of vineyards between Cenicero and its newest project in Bergasa (Finca Carbonera at 850 m above sea level, planted with white wine varieties). The winery quickly attracted attention due to its outstanding price-pleasure ratio. The white wines impress with their freshness and fruitiness, and the red wines are characterized by softness, silkiness, and a subtle, classic oak sweetness. All wines are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and the red wines are aged in American oak barriques. Storage takes place in temperature- and humidity-controlled halls. International top ratings for over 10 years underscore the consistent quality of the wines. The crowning achievement was being named the best Spanish winery at the IWSC in 2016.
