Kijimea® FloraCare – modelled after the natural vaginal microbiome
The vaginal flora is colonised by countless Lactobacillus strains. These fulfil a crucial protective function against potentially harmful bacteria and fungi. Due to various factors, such as hormonal changes, antibiotic intake, or even excessive hygiene, the vaginal microbiome can become imbalanced.
Kijimea® FloraCare imitates the natural vaginal microbiome in its diversity. It contains 33 precisely coordinated Lactobacillus strains of the species L. crispatus, L. fermentum, L. gasseri, L. reuteri, L. rhamnosus, L. acidophilus, L. brevis, L. delbrueckii, L. casei, L. helveticus, L. johnsonii, L. paracasei, L. plantarum, L. sakei and L. salivarius, which occur in the natural vaginal flora.
Additionally, Kijimea® FloraCare contains vitamins B3 (Niacin), B2 (Riboflavin) and B7 (Biotin), which contribute to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes, e.g., the vaginal mucous membrane.
Directions for Use
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: Take 1 capsule once daily, unchewed, with sufficient liquid with a meal (morning, noon, or evening). We recommend taking Kijimea® FloraCare for at least four weeks.
