The Kaiserschmarrn – lovingly baked golden yellow by hand is one of the most famous desserts in Austrian cuisine and is made from the finest basic ingredients such as eggs, milk, sugar and wheat flour.
A master chef bakes it in a large pan and crushes it by hand, so that it tastes airy and fluffy. The side dish, the plum compote, is slowly stewed in its own juice. Fine spices such as vanilla, cinnamon, lemon and ground cloves refine this dessert and ensure a great taste.
