Preparation in the pot:
Bring lightly salted water to the boil. Put the strawberry dumplings in while still frozen and, after the water has boiled again, cook uncovered over a moderate heat for about 15-17 minutes. Stir several times during cooking.
2. Preparation of the breadcrumbs
.In the pan:
Place the frozen breadcrumb-sugar mixture in a pan and heat over medium heat without adding fat for approx. 1 minute, stirring constantly. Roll the finished dumplings in the hot breadcrumb and sugar mixture and sprinkle with icing sugar to taste.
