Esterhazy has been organic for over 15 years.
Amidst one of Europe's most valuable natural areas, embedded in the region around Lake Neusiedl, lie Esterhazy's organically farmed areas. By utilizing the regional site characteristics of the Pannonian region, the best organic qualities of wheat, spelt, barley, oats, and rye can be produced.
But also a variety of other field crops such as oil pumpkin, corn, soy, and sunflowers, as well as various legumes, millet types, and chickpeas are cultivated. In the company's own meat manufactory at Seehof in Donnerskirchen, game and organic Angus beef are processed and refined on an operating area of approximately 500 m².
