All animals are kept in a species-appropriate manner on selected Austrian farms. Ongoing external and internal controls.

The male chickens are raised through a "brother rooster rearing" project.

In free-range and organic farming, the animals have a correspondingly large outdoor area with sand baths and covered shelter options.

In organic egg production, all male day-old chicks have been raised since December 2015. For this purpose, we have converted the entire production to the laying hen breed "Sandy". This breed lays beige-colored organic eggs, the roosters are raised for 9-10 weeks, and slaughtered in the company's own slaughterhouse.
