Why do our Staatzer organic eggs taste particularly good? That is quite easily explained.

Our chickens eat only the best, organically certified organic feed, most of which comes from our own farm. The mobile chicken coop means that they always have fresh grass around the coop, which is where our girls love to peck and scratch. We have the green grass and the tasty herbs to thank for the strong sunshine-yellow yolk. In between, a bath in the sand or a nap in the winter garden provide new energy. After all, not every chicken has such a wonderful view of the Staatzer Berg.

In our fields, it is not just a matter of simply omitting environmentally harmful means of production such as pesticides or chemically produced fertilisers or replacing them with permitted aids. Today I can look proudly at my farm and the mobile chicken coop of my organic laying hens and know that it is going in the right direction. Chickens are my passion, so I specialise in organic laying hens and organic broiler hens. With our years of experience, our accumulated skills and the necessary sensitivity for any change in behaviour, I make sure that our 'girls' are always well. The species-appropriate coop and the diversified run ensure the well-being and satisfaction of our organic chickens. Our life project is to live close to nature, to be allowed to supply our region with the best food and to enable our animals to live a species-appropriate, livable life on our farm."
