The Wachau Debreziner are made from pork from the REGIONAL-OPTIMAL regionality and climate protection programme. The hearty Wachau Debreziner are not only convincing due to their typical spicy paprika flavour, but also due to their ingredients, which are precisely specified within the framework of the regional.optimal programme.

The animals for the REGIONAL-OPTIMAL products grow exclusively at  more than 40 selected
Austrian farmers within a maximum radius of 50 kilometres from the site in Sieghartskirchen.
The feed is 100% GMO-free and comes from the farmers' own cultivation or from the nearby Danube region.
By doing without soy meal from overseas, climate-damaging CO2 can be saved and at the same time the existence of the farmers in the region can be secured.
