Description
1. What is BoxaGrippal and what is it used for? BoxaGrippal 400 mg/60 mg - film-coated tablets contain two active ingredients: ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Ibuprofen belongs to the group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs have pain-relieving and fever-reducing effects. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride belongs to the group of medicines known as vasoconstrictors, which have a decongestant effect on the nasal mucosa. BoxaGrippal 400 mg/60 mg - film-coated tablets are used for the symptomatic relief of nasal congestion accompanied by headache and/or fever in cases of influenza in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and over. You should only use this combination medicine if you have both a blocked nose and pain or fever. If you only have one of these symptoms, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist about treatment with ibuprofen or pseudoephedrine hydrochloride alone. If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 5 days, consult your doctor.
