Description
Le Vieux-Bourg Poivre Sauvage is a Breton churned butter with a peppery note. It is made using a traditional method, then hand-cut and packaged.
Since 1956, this butter has been produced in the heart of Brittany in a two-step process in a butter churn: churning develops its aroma and creaminess, and subsequent kneading distributes the remaining moisture for an even, easy-to-spread consistency. Its natural yellow color comes from milk from Breton pastures.
Use
As a spread, to enhance vegetables and potatoes, or to round off sauces. Also pairs well with steak, fish, or fresh baguette.
