The large gherkins are quartered and carefully pickled by hand. The hand-picked processing preserves the natural freshness and full flavor of the 100% Austrian gherkins. The sweet and sour marinade gives the gherkins a flavorful spice and ensures an incomparable taste experience.
About the producer:
Efko Frischfrucht und Delikatessen GmbH has been growing steadily since its foundation more than 80 years ago. The company has developed from a local processor of fruit and vegetables to the most important producer of pickled vegetables (vegetables in glass jars) in Austria. Then as now, the focus of daily activities is on the natural preservation of fresh crops.
Efko is a cooperation partner of the Upper Austrian Fruit and Vegetable Utilization Cooperative with around 125 farmers from the region who produce fruit and vegetables of the best quality according to strict criteria.
