Fully ripe grapes from the vineyards in and around Gamlitz, selectively hand-picked. 15-35 year old vines of the Sattler family.
Steep slopes at 350 – 450 m above sea level. Crystalline quartz sands with mica as well as the cool microclimate shape the character of this wine.
Tasting note:
Captivating fragrance of pears and grapefruit zest, also a little lychee mixed in; very juicy and powerful. Cool components, long mineral finish.
