This classic organic Riesling from the renowned Bründlmayer winery comes from the steep terraced vineyards of the Austrian Kamptal region. The dry white wine shines with a lively bouquet of white peach and lime, paired with a fine, salty mineral core and crisp acidity. It features a 12.0% alcohol content and comes in a 0.75l bottle.

Description
Riesling 13% Vol.
The Kamptal Terraces are characterized by the barren primary rock soil, as well as by the climate: the vineyards are located at an altitude of between 200 and 300m, at the junction of the Danube Valley and Kamptal.
The good daytime warming creates the ripeness and fullness of the grapes, while the suction effect of the Kamptal in the evening and at night moves the cool air of the Waldviertel into the vineyards, which preserves freshness and fruit.
The ripe grapes are hand-picked into small boxes and processed very gently with a pneumatic press.
The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at between 15 and 20°C and then filled directly from the fine lees. The Riesling Kamptal Terrassen is already expressive as a young wine and has an extraordinarily compact structure.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Attractive bouquet, fine floral aromas (apricot & elderflower), accompanied by delicate citrus spice;
Palate: yellow, ripe peach, great freshness balanced by a hint of fruit sweetness, delicate body with good texture
Food recommendation: Fish & seafood, salads, poultry, veal, pork, Asian cuisine
