Dr. Böhm® Coenzyme Q10 is your daily companion from 50 onwards and while taking cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins). The capsules combine Coenzyme Q10 in a particularly high dosage (100 mg) with the important Vitamin B12 and Thiamine (Vitamin B1).
With increasing age (from 50 years), the body's own production of Coenzyme Q10 is reduced. The reduced Coenzyme Q10 level then negatively affects energy supply in the body. Cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins) also inhibit the formation of Coenzyme Q10. As a result, these inherently helpful medications often unintentionally lead to fatigue, exhaustion, or muscle discomfort. In both cases, a supplementary intake of Coenzyme Q10 is sensible and important.
Benefits:
- Coenzyme Q10: With increasing age and due to the intake of cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins), the body's own production of Coenzyme Q10 is reduced. This leads to a reduced energy supply.
- Thiamine contributes to normal heart function.
- Vitamin B12 also makes an important contribution to reducing fatigue and exhaustion. Furthermore, it contributes to normal energy metabolism.
