BIO Tatsoi

Tatsoi is a close relative of Pak Choi, Chinese cabbage and Kai-lan, as well as the turnip, from the genus Brassica. Due to the rosette-like arrangement of its leaves, it is also known as Rosette Pak Choi or Rosette Bok Choi.

Usage

Tatsoi can be used in many ways. The cabbage is wonderful as pesto, in salads, steamed, as a stir-fry, Tatsoi vegetable, and for garnishing soups. It is a very versatile leafy green that can be served both raw and cooked.

About the Producer

Our small organic nursery named Fleischhacker is located in Simmering, a historic vegetable supply district of Vienna. The family business has existed for over 100 years and is now managed by us in the 4th generation.

Sustainability and the conscious handling of nature and its resources are very important to us, which is why we have opted for organic farming. On approx. 2 hectares, we produce seasonal organic vegetables all year round.

Storage Recommendation

Salad should always be stored in the refrigerator, ideally at 5°C and high humidity. The vegetable drawer is best suited for this.
