Scientific data suggest that extracts from monk's pepper fruits act on the pituitary-hypothalamus axis. Patients with a history of pituitary disease should therefore discuss taking this medicine with a doctor.

In the case of prolactin-secreting tumors, taking extracts from monk's pepper fruits can mask the symptoms of the tumor.

Children and adolescents

- The active ingredient in 1 film-coated tablet is:
20 mg dry extract from monk's pepper fruits (Agni casti fructus), drug-extract ratio (DER) 6-12:1, extraction agent ethanol 60 % (m/m).

- The other ingredients are:
Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, highly dispersed anhydrous silicon dioxide, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400, macrogol 20000, propylene glycol.
