A delicate yellow with a hint of golden reflections already makes the observer's eye shine. Clear, pure fruit aromas, especially stone fruit notes such as peach, are convincing in the smell.

In the taste, the Riesling Kamptal DAC shows its pleasant acid structure: you can directly feel the minerality given by the soil. In addition to a suitable exoticism, there is also a fine peach note in the palate, reminiscent of the smell.

This Riesling refreshes for a long time due to its pleasant sugar-acid structure even long after enjoyment.

Weinhof Waldschütz

The Weinhof Waldschütz, with its headquarters in Sachsendorf, not only cultivates parts of the best sites on the Wagram, such as the Scheiben, the Brunnthal or the Hammergraben, but can also enrich the assortment with top Kamptal wines! "The origin of our wines is of paramount importance to us," says the young winemaker Ralph Waldschütz.

With 15ha of its own and some purchases from contract winegrowers, the Weinhof Waldschütz manages an annual production of >100,000 bottles. The assortment is divided into GV and ZW for the most part, but also RI and WB as well as a strong SB and a cuvée from ME and CS are the specialties of the house.

In addition to the wine estate in Sachsendorf, the family also runs a small but fine top Heuriger in Obernholz, which was voted the best in the Kamptal in 2013.
