Beni di Batasiolo is one of the largest wineries in the Langhe, the southern region of Piedmont. The history of the winery begins in the 1950s with the founding of the Chiola winery in La Morra. At that time, it comprised seven estates, all situated in the middle of the vineyards. In 1978, the Dogliani brothers acquired the winery, which they gradually expanded: today, the estate includes nine estates and 126 hectares of vines, 76 of which are planted with Nebbiolo the most important grape variety in the region.
