The base product for STROH Inländer Rum is exclusively real rum. The history of Inländer Rum dates back to the time of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. At that time, the crew of the Imperial and Royal (k.u.k.) fleet received a daily ration of rum. Since 2008, it has been legally stipulated in the EU that Inländer Rum must be 100% produced in Austria from sugar cane molasses. This makes it a geographically protected Austrian spirits specialty, unique in the international spirits world. For over 185 years now, the original STROH Inländer Rum has impressed with its finely fragrant, delicate rum note and its authentic and aromatic taste.
STROH 60 is a versatile talent. Besides cocktails, it is also particularly suitable for preserving jams, chutneys, or jellies. STROH 60 has always been used for preparing the classic Rumtopf – the fruits are preserved by the alcohol and simultaneously acquire their wonderful aroma.
