La Gioiosa Prosecco Frizzante Treviso DOC. Designation: La Gioiosa DOC Prosecco Frizzante TrevisoGrowing area: Prosecco is a typical wine of the Veneto region. The growing area extends over the Prosecco DOC area in the province of Treviso and includes themoraine hills above the plain, whose soils consist of mediumcrumb from former alluvial land. Vinification: Whole grapes are gently pressed in thepneumatic press. The resultingmust is placed in a temperature-controlled tank after an initial racking, where it remains until it is used to produce the sparkling wine. The must is placed in containers where thefermentation process takes place at a controlled temperature of15-16 °C. Once the required alcohol and sugar content is reached, fermentation is stopped bycooling. After a short settling period, the sparkling wine is ready for bottling. Origin: ITALYSensory characteristics:Color: Very pale straw yellow with fine, delicate perlage. Nose: Fruity, floral aroma with delicate aromaticcitrus notes. Mouth: Fresh and lively on the palate.
