La Gioiosa Prosecco Spumante Treviso DOC. Designation: Prosecco Spumante DOC TrevisoGrape varieties: GleraVinification: The whole grapes are directly placed in the pneumatic press and gently pressed. The resulting must is then transferred to temperature-controlled tanks after an initial racking and remains there until it is used for sparkling wine production. The must is then placed in containers with selected yeast cultures from La Gioiosa, where fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 15-16 °C to highlight all the harvest aromas. Once the required alcohol and sugar content is reached, fermentation is stopped by cooling. After a short settling period, the sparkling wine is ready for bottling. Soil type: Alluvial soils of medium texture. Origin: ITALYSensory characteristics:Color: Very pale straw yellow with fine, persistent perlage. Nose: The aroma is fruity and floral with hints of ripe golden apples and small mountain flowers. Palate: On the palate, it is dry, fresh, and flavorful, with a fruity and harmonious finish. Recommendations: Excellent as an aperitif with appetizers. Ideal with steamed seafood. Serving temperature in °C: 6-8 °CAlcohol %: 11
