Iglo Classic Red Cabbage

iglo Red Cabbage with Apple 600g is our classic and prepared according to a popular Austrian recipe. It is grown in the Marchfeld and then frozen fresh after harvesting. This way, important vitamins and nutrients are preserved in the best possible way.

In addition, red cabbage is extremely rich in vitamin C (50 milligrams per 100 grams) and can be prepared in an incredibly versatile way. iglo Red Cabbage 600g is ideal as a side dish for the whole family.

The best way to cook iglo red cabbage is in a saucepan or in the microwave.

Preparation recommendation:

In a saucepan: Put frozen iglo red cabbage with approx. 3 tbsp water in a saucepan. Cook covered over medium heat for approx. 14 minutes, stirring several times.

In the microwave: Put the red cabbage block with 2-3 tbsp in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat covered at 600 watts for approx. 14 minutes. Stir well after half the cooking time.
