When the Akov distillery reduced the quince brandy to 24% alcohol and mixed it with honey after two years of patient waiting, the result was nothing less than Medunja, a quince liqueur based on honey. Some consider Akov Medunja Liqueur as an aperitif, others as a dessert and still others as a cure in a glass, but all share only one thing - a guaranteed sweet smile after tasting. Alcohol content 30%.
