Usage
Unless otherwise directed, adults generally take 2-3 teaspoons of Epsom salt dissolved in approx. 200ml of water. Children over 6 years of age take half the amount. The effect occurs after 8-10 hours. For rapid emptying of the entire bowel within 2 to 4 hours, 20-30 g (1-2 tablespoons) of Epsom salt dissolved in 500 ml of water must be taken. The specified amount of liquid must be strictly adhered to. Epsom salt should only be used for a short period.
