The self-heating POSIFORLID® eye mask from URSAPHARM is a specialized pharmacy product designed to relieve eyelid inflammation, styes, and gland dysfunction. It provides a constant, safe warmth of about 45 degrees for over 5 minutes to gently liquefy secretions and improve blood flow. Description
One of the main problems with blepharitis is the solidification of the meibomian gland secretions. Heat treatment liquefies the secretions and promotes blood circulation to the eyelid margins. It is therefore extremely important to restore the function of the meibomian glands.
However, heat treatment is only successful if a moist-warm climate is maintained at a constant temperature of approx. 45 degrees for 5 – 7 minutes. POSIFORLID® eye mask is a self-warming eye mask that particularly meets these requirements and can be reused approx. 90 times.
The warmth of the mask
